Add Okaya to your home screen
Open Okaya in one tap, just like a regular app. Pick your phone below — there's a short video and three quick steps for each.
Open Okaya in Safari
Use Safari (not Chrome) and go to mindcheck.okaya.me. The home-screen feature only works from Safari on iPhone and iPad.
Tap the Share button
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (or top right on iPad).
Choose "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen. Confirm the name and tap Add. The Okaya icon will appear on your home screen.
Open Okaya in Chrome
Use Chrome and go to mindcheck.okaya.me. Most Android phones come with Chrome installed by default.
Open the menu
Tap the three-dot menu in the top right of Chrome. You may also see an "Install app" prompt — if so, tap that.
Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
Choose Add to Home screen (or Install app) from the menu, then tap Add or Install. The Okaya icon will appear on your home screen.
You're all set
Tap the new Okaya icon any time you want to check in.
Frequently asked
Will this install a real app from the App Store or Play Store?
No — this adds a shortcut to your home screen so Okaya opens in full screen. It uses no extra storage and doesn't go through the App Store or Play Store.
Can I move or rename the icon later?
Yes. Long-press the icon to move it to another spot, put it in a folder, or remove it just like any other app icon.
Will I stay signed in?
Just like in the current application you may be required to login again to ensure proper privacy and security.
How do I remove the shortcut?
Long-press the Okaya icon and choose Remove (iOS) or Uninstall / Remove from Home (Android). This only removes the shortcut — your account is not affected.
